Lieutenant Wayne Mitchell Davis

Lieutenant Wayne Mitchell Davis lost his fight against cancer on June 3, 2007 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital.

Lieutenant Davis began his career with the Surry County Sheriff's Office on January 11, 1982 and worked under three Sheriff's, Sheriff W.R. (Bill) Hall, Sheriff Connie R. Watson and current Sheriff Graham H. Atkinson. Lieutenant Davis was supervisor of the Civil Division and was respected and loved by all his brothers and sisters in Law Enforcement.

His passing leaves a great void in our heart and our profession.
