k-9 division

Officers of the K-9 Division are assigned normal patrol duties as well as specialized duties of performing drug searches at request of narcotics or other officers. Additionally all K9 units are assigned to the Special Enforcement Team for entry and arrest in dangerous situations.

The Dogs of the K9 division are trained to detect cadavers, search for lost or missing persons, track and detain wanted suspects, as well as obedience and attack work.
